Cities well west of the Mississippi River have dominated the housing market since the turn of the decade. But, places like San Francisco and Denver might see a slowdown this year.
Housing Wire reports that homebuyers in Western metros have struggled to buy homes due to a shortage of inventory and rising prices.
“The West, which has largely outpaced the rest of the nation in terms of growth in the last several years, is beginning to see market slowing across some of its major metropolitan statistical areas,” Clear Capital’s latest HDI market report found.
