During last decade’s housing boom, bidding wars were a quintessential part of the home buying process. Today, bidding wars seem to be making a comeback.
According to The Wall Street Journal real estate reporter Kris Hudson, buyers are competing with bids in a number of metro areas across the U.S. “But while the earlier wars reflected enthusiasm fueled by easy money mortgages, the current froth stems from a market short of homes for sale,” Hudson writes.
