Electric steam humidifier uses advanced low density, high surface area heating elements that will not burn out even if the unit runs dry. Embedded temperature sensors in the heating elements allow the unit's microprocessor to warn of required maintenance in advance, and also keeps the water in the stream generator at a preset temperature, allowing the unit to respond to demand in seconds. The unit's controller has inputs for return and supply air humidity sensors.
