According to a 2015 Pew Research survey, 67 percent of adults said they used broadband internet, down from 70 percent in a 2013 survey.
HousingWire writes that people across all age groups are turning away from getting their homes connected with broadband service, and are instead relying on their smartphones. Around 13 percent of Americans are “smartphone only,” according to the survey.
With more of a reliance on smartphones, real estate companies and loan brokerages will have to optimize their websites for the mobile web.
