While the U.S. economy isn’t growing very fast these days, some states are, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. Florida, Texas, Utah, and Washington are leading the way with annualized real GDP growth of more than 3 percent in the fourth quarter. California, the District of Columbia, Idaho, and Oregon are also growing at faster than 2.5 percent. The state with the fastest-growing economy over the course of the full year is Washington.
