Boston, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle had the fiercest bidding wars for homes in 2015, according to Redfin.
Just how bad was it? Well, the top 30 most competitive neighborhoods of 2015 were all located in one of these four cities. The common denominator: All four are major tech hubs, with an influx of tech companies, tech workers, and tech money affecting the real estate markets there.
Leading the way in homebuying competition was Inman Square, located in Cambridge just outside of Boston.
