CBS San Francisco reports that Star Wars creator George Lucas is planning to build an affordable housing project on his land in Marin County.
According to CBS, the decision was “payback” to his neighbors, who opposed his plans to expand his Skywalker Ranch studio. Lucas plans to fund the entire project himself, which will have 224 homes on the land where his neighbors said no to his studio expansion.
