In the latest episode of Curbed's "Home of the Future" six-part video series, the design team integrates a variety of smart home tech products into one "super computer brain."
Working with Austin-based company Smarter Homes, the Curbed team incorporated an RTI processor into its control processor to help all devices "speak the same language," and work together in the same interface, two Sonos Connects to stream music indoors or outside, a Lutron smart light switch hub, a modem and more. Writes news editor Jenny Xie, "The magic of a fully tricked-out smart home really manifests itself when you set up automated shortcuts, which are function sequences that use a combination of devices."
