The recent release of the State of the Nation's Housing 2015 report from Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies reveals that homeownership numbers are worse than expected.
According to Boston.com, the country’s homeownership rate is currently 63.7 percent, the lowest level since 1993. While Millennials have been the focus of builders and developers for some time, it appears that Generation X has the lowest rate of ownership with approximately 58 percent owning their own homes.
