Homebuyers in Atlanta need to save $17.30 a day to afford a down payment for the median home price in 5 years, Business Insider reports.
If the buyer wants to take more time, they can get by with saving $5.80 a day for 15 years, less than the price of the average sandwich. But Atlanta takes the last spot on the list.
On the other end of the spectrum is San Francisco, where buyers need to save $27.30 a day for 15 years to afford the down payment for a median home price, almost double what the Atlanta homebuyer needs to save up in just 5 years.
