Gold Bond Brand SoundBreak XP Retrofit is a new solution from National Gypsum that decreases transmission of audible sound between rooms. SoundBreak XP is a sound-damping gypsum board with high-density viscoelastic polymer adhered to heavy mold-, mildew-, and moisture-resistant Purple face paper. The board can be installed over existing interior gypsum board, with a thinner assembly that saves square footage.
