A team of students at the Delft Technical University in the Netherlands has designed what Fast Co. Exist calls “the Swiss Army knife of apartment designs.”
The new experimental micro-apartment provides 1,000 square feet of living space in an apartment half the size. A single studio with movable polypropylene walls can change the space’s layout according to function, based on the idea that no one technically can be in two different rooms at once, so why the need of separate rooms?
