Fans of Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor can rejoice: Expenditures for home improvements are expected to grow in 2016, the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University reports. From first quarter 2016 to third quarter 2016, the annual spending growth for home improvements is expected to accelerate from 4.3 percent to 7.6 percent.
Continuing a trend of steady growth and improvement in recent years, 2016 is projected to be a better year for home renovation activity than 2015 thanks to more homes being brought to the market and increased sales.
That type of “more power” growth would bring a tear to the Tool Man’s eye.
