The most livable city in the United State unfortunately has the highest cost of living too. Honolulu, Hawaii ranked highest among U.S. cities in the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability (sic) Index for 2019.
Honolulu was 22nd out of 140 destinations ranked around the world based on 30 factors like quality of health care, education, infrastructure, stability, and culture. Vienna, Austria was the ranked the most livable city in the world. Other U.S. cities that scored high enough to get on that list were Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
