Despite the fifth largest snowstorm in Chicago’s history, buyers were out and about from one open house to another, treading through 2-foot snowdrifts, Realtor.com reports.
“In the last 18 months, the [Chicago] spring market has moved up, mainly due to a lack of inventory,” said Realtor Ryan Parks who works in downtown Chicago. In the Windy City, the spring market usually begins right after the Super Bowl in early February. But according to Realtor.com, these days it begins just after the playoffs.
