Closet-sized homes have been the norm for some time in dense Asian and European cities, and now developers in the U.S. and Canada are following the trend. CNN reports that a Nielsen study found 40 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 36 want to live in urban areas instead of the suburbs, but 69 percent don’t earn enough to do so. Multiple developers are now planning and constructing chic, central micro-condos to cater to this group.
