Homeowners in coastal areas have storm protection on their minds, so Ply Gem updated its aluminum-clad wood patio door line with the Mira Premium Impact Series 2- and 3-Panel Sliding Patio Door. Both door lines are available in heights up to 8 feet. The two-panel doors extended up to 8 feet wide, while the three-panel offering can go to 9 feet. The doors feature glass that uses the same technology as automotive safety glass, which prevent debris from breaking through. They meet impact requirements in U.S. Zone 2 (110 to 120 mph) and Zone 3 (120 to 140 mph) wind zones.
