Ann Sacks tapped the ceramics expertise of Tajimi, Japan—a city that has used ceramic techniques to produce everything from tabletops to building exteriors for the last 400 years—for its new porcelain design, Pearl Shimmer, a 2-by-4-inch netted mosaic. The line comes in four colors: Cream Shimmer, Diamond Shimmer, Taupe Shimmer, and Silver Shimmer, and is good for indoor walls, dry-use flooring, shower walls, and high-temperature locations such as fireplaces, ranges, and pizza ovens.
