Despite the “blizzard” of disappointing news about the housing market last month, Realtor.com Chief Economist Jonathan Smoke says springtime will be sunny.
“The report on January data from the National Association of Realtors [showed] that there was a limited supply of homes for sale and that buyer traffic increased,” Smoke writes. “That helped push up home values, which appreciated 6.2 percent on an annualized basis.”
