Not many people think about how much their homes weigh, but British architecture writer Phyllis Richardson explores the idea in her new monograph Superlight, published by Metropolis Books.
The book highlights recent projects from Chile to Vietnam, and reconsiders what makes a project “light.” She tells the New York Times “[I started] thinking about low impact on surroundings, how the houses interact with the site. Could they be in some way more lightweight?”
