The NPE-150S model is the newest addition to Navien’s line of condensing tankless NPE water heaters. With an efficiency rating of 0.97 EF and a heating capacity of 18,000 to 120,000 Btu per hour that produces 5.3 gpm at a 45 degree temperature rise, the unit is best suited for small residences or to cascade where additional domestic hot water is required. The heater has a ½-inch gas pipe capability, 2-inch PVC venting up to 60 feet, and dual stainless steel heat exchangers. Navien is an Energy Star partner of the Residential Water Heater Program.
