Kelly Wearstler, a fashion and interior designer, created Ann Sacks’ newest lines of fine tile and stone. The three collections, Maven, Tableau, and Liaison, are geometric with clean symmetry, which gives a striking, bold look. Maven consists of 11 ceramic tiles that use cuerda seca, a dry line technique from Spain, and comes in 30 colors (including white-on-white). Maven can be used in floor and wall applications both indoors and outdoors, and is offered in 8-by-8-inch tiles. Tableau consists of six designs available in 9-by-9-inch tiles. The line comes in both stoneware and earthenware, in 50 colors and 108 colors, respectively, and is best suited for indoor use for walls, fire surrounds, backsplashes, and showers. Liaison (shown) offers nine designs based on marble. Optimal for feature walls, floors, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, and showers, the line comes in large or small tiles
