The Wall Street Journal created an interactive table that lets users see which cities are adding jobs and cutting unemployment rates.
“Of the 51 metropolitan areas with a population greater than 1 million, all but two saw nonfarm payrolls increase over the past year,” writes reporter Jeffrey Sparshott.
Employment rose the most in San Jose, Calif., with an increase of 4.8 percent from September 2014, while Minneapolis-St. Paul enjoyed the lowest unemployment rate at 3.1 percent.
