The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies looks into the future to predict what the housing market will look like as Baby Boomers age and die.
“[The] adult population growth will begin to fall off sharply in the coming decade,” writes George Masnick, a senior research fellow at the Joint Center. “Though this decline will have a dampening effect on household growth, it will occur over several decades and may be offset by the millennial generation beginning households of their own.”
