Clinton offers a very broad-based proposal on her website, while housing isn’t even a priority for Trump. According to a Fast Company article, Democrats and Republicans alike may be loath to add a costly new domestic housing program to the agenda during an election year, especially when a $503 billion national deficit is projected for 2017.
