Our economy has come a long way since the 2007-2009 recession. Wages are going up, unemployment is at its lowest level since May 2007, and we’re in the midst of the second-longest bull market ever. But Americans’ confidence in the housing market isn’t showing such impressive growth, says MarketWatch contributor Nancy Mann Jackson. The reasons include fear of another housing bubble; not having enough money for a down payment; and losing a job or having to move.
