Some housing markets buck the seasonal trend by remaining hot in the winter (figuratively, of course).
“Overall, the national median for days on market trends downward from a sluggish 108 in February to a speedy 73 in June,” Realtor.com reports. But there are towns out there that can maintain a good pace of home sales come winter, such as ski resort towns.
“In Colorado’s San Miguel County, a charming notch in the Rocky Mountains where Telluride is located, median days on market drop significantly after fall kicks off,” the article says.
