Both buyers and sellers use Zillow to check rough estimates on any house in the nation and connect with local real estate agents. Now it seems that the site no longer wants to serve as the middleman.
HousingWire reports that Zillow is launching a new program called Zillow Instant Offers, where homeowners can use the site’s platform to get all cash offers and sell their homes.
If the seller decides to use the “Instant Offer” program, they will also receive a comparative market analysis from a local real estate agent, which would allow them to compare the investor offers to what their home might be worth on the open market. Consider it a “Zestimate” on steroids.
The new program is currently being tested in Las Vegas and Orlando.
