When it comes to living at home, there has been some dramatic change in energy conservation, such as a switch from incandescent to more energy-saving options, and the use of less water.
But other things remain unchanged, such as a preference for gasoline-powered cars. Also, energy use for appliances and electronics climbed steadily.
