Some homebuyers in Arizona can opt for the convenience of having their own pumping station in their garages, AZ Central reports.
That is if the future homeowners want to commute with an alternative-fuel vehicle. This will be an option for buyers of Fulton Homes’ houses in Queen Creek, Ariz., costing them $6,000, or about $28 more to a monthly mortgage payment.
“As of June 30, Arizona had 3,826 registered vehicles that run only on compressed natural gas, according to the Department of Transportation,” the article says. According to Dennis Webb, vice president of operations for Fulton, this addition “would be ideal for someone who lives here and commutes to Phoenix or Tempe.”
