Home purchasing platform OfferPad has partnered with loanDepot to offer digital financing options for homebuyers, the Washington Post reports.
The partnership with loanDepot, the second largest non-bank consumer lender, has facilitated the creation OfferPad Home Loans, providing digital mortgage loan application services to prospective homebuyers shopping on OfferPad. The partners are also offering bridge loans to help sellers navigate the time between purchasing a new home and selling an existing home.
Homeowners requesting purchase offers through OfferPad can receive one in as little as 24 hours, the company says. The sellers can choose a closing date once they accept the offer. OfferPad will also pay for local moves.The service is currently available in Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, Tampa and Orlando, Fla., Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix.
