Due to the strong correlation between the housing and job markets, any improvements in housing are sure to benefit the wider economy, and according to US News and World Report, a rise in single-family construction will lead to more job creation.
Home construction jobs continued to rise throughout 2014 and are up more than 305,000 over the past three years. Additionally, single-family construction in 2015 is estimated to rise by as much as 25 percent, meaning that as the market recovers, more people will land construction jobs and be able to contribute to the nation’s recovering economy.
