Texas Luxury Community Features Underground Homes With Air Lock Blast Doors

Texas investors are planning a $300 million luxury community, named Trident Lakes, of underground homes with air-lock blast doors designed for people worried about a dirty bomb or other disaster. The long list of amenities includes an 18-hole golf course, high-end spa, gun ranges, zip lines, shops and restaurants, and a row of helipads. The 700-acre property will also include an equestrian center, polo fields and 20-acre lakes with white-sand beaches. The development will have a fortress-like approach to security with 12-foot wall along the perimeter of the property with security guards manning watchtowers.
