Housing economist Tom Lawler takes a look at some of the data from NAR’s 2014 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers (PHBS).
When it comes to the way homebuyers usually purchase their homes, for example, Lawler says that the PHBS’s number for all-cash sales “seems way too low,” and that the implied average LTV for purchase mortgage originations seems way too high.
