Housewrap DW, a tri-laminate vapor-permeable woven housewrap with a spacer that creates a millimeter-size gap between sheathing and cladding, is Typar’s latest addition to its product line. The housewrap provides 96 percent drainage efficiency as measured by ASTM 2273 and exceeds AC 38 drainage specifications, the manufacturer says, providing faster drainage and drier exterior walls, which helps prevent mold and rot damage.
