Jobs website ZipRecruiter found that the U.S. job market just had its best year for hiring in 15 years, the Huffington Post reports.
Analysts project cities in the West, Midwest, and Southwest are going to be the big hirers in the coming year. ZipRecruiter examined data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on the 100 biggest metro areas by job market size that have an unemployment rate below 5.6 percent.
The website found that listings for positions in health care, construction, and manufacturing are abundant in the cities with the strongest job markets. Lincoln, Neb., tops the list, followed by Fargo, N.D., and Rochester, Minn.
