The Washington Post reports on a family living in a sustainable home designed to leave no carbon footprint.
Susan O’Hara and Stuart Bennett have lived with their twin daughters in the experimental home built in Davis, Calif., since October 2014, and their stay is scheduled to end this October.
The project is being driven by the Honda Motor Company. The study’s aim is to observe the possibility for sustainable houses and vehicles to be in much wider use and see how it would affect the nation’s power grid.
